Bentobot
A global, free-to-play combat robot fight tournament controlled from your couch.

Problem
Robot fights are fun as hell. They are like the ultimate sport for robotics and engineering nerds. However, the current options are expensive and time-consuming:
- Building your own robots
- Paying for event tickets
- Flying to the event
- Hotels, food, etc.
- Asking your boss for a week off
The Solution
We built 3 robots & 1 application for people to remotely control them. Robots & application were built in 2 weeks. We ran tournaments on my YouTube channel for 4 weeks.
100+ people played. Lots of fun had.
How It Works

Bento can be controlled by anyone, from anywhere. All you need is a phone and an internet connection. It doesn't matter where you are in the world — you can join the fight!
We had players joining from all around the globe, including Santiago, a cool player from Colombia 🛥️
The BentoBot Arena

Every week, we hosted a live robot fight between BentoBots, streamed on YouTube and controlled by the audience in real time. The arena, the robots, the streaming setup — all built from scratch.
