YouTube Channel

Making complex robotics & AI projects simple and fun.

Thomas the Maker — YouTube Channel

Problem

If you are someone starting robotics today, your options are:

  • Follow the LED-blinking example projects
  • Put yourself in frustration with 1-hour-long complex tutorial projects

Those are both not effective at helping you build great things.

The Solution

I built my YouTube channel to make complex & quirky robotics (and sometimes AI) projects simple and fun.

The channel covers everything from building remote-control robots to training language models on microcontrollers. All code is shared, all mistakes are documented, and the projects are designed to be replicable.

Some Highlights

  • Bentobot tournaments — live robot fight streams
  • ComfySpace demos — controlling robots from your phone
  • Starmind experiments — tiny AI on tiny hardware
  • Build tutorials — making complex projects accessible
